Subject: PTA General Meeting Cancelled for March 5
Hello Fellow Parents, In light of recent district guidelines to reduce the number of evening activities taking place at our schools, we are cancelling tomorrow night’s General Meeting, in order to reduce the burden on our custodial staff for cleaning of the school ahead of kids’ arrival on Friday morning. As a reminder, this meeting was intended to be an informational session to learn about district funding for Montlake Elementary in 20-21, as well as the PTA’s anticipated contributions to supplement staff for the school year. In lieu of our in-person session, we will be sending an email in the next couple of days that shares our updates, and we welcome your follow-up questions to email@example.com.
March 21 Auction – No Change
We remain on track for our Auction, planned for March 21 at St. Demetrios. If circumstances change with COVID-19 and we feel it is necessary to postpone or cancel the event, we will communicate this decision. So, don’t delay – we encourage you to purchase your tickets (http://bit.ly/2020AuctionRSVP), book your childcare and prepare for this fun and important fundraiser for our school!
March 26 General Meeting – No Change
Our March 26 PTA general meeting also remains on the calendar, where we will be presenting the final budget recommendation for 20-21 and asking for General Membership approval in a vote.
