The Annual Fund Campaign – Week 4 – Final Week!!! The Annual Fund Drive is nearing the end and is extremely short of our goal to raise $100,000. We have currently only raised $31,346 this year. In previous years, this goal has been attainable. I feel our students would be at a loss without our amazing art and greenhouse programs. coque iphone Not to mention the tutors in every class, the reading specialist, or the walk to math teacher. In addition, we fund the school supplies, technology resources, playground equipment, and our amazing counselor. All of these things are what make Montlake Elementary so extraordinary. We cannot continue with these essentials without the support of our families and our community. If you are able to donate and haven’t done so, please take a moment today because it is only through your support that Montlake will be able to continue to offer all the extra programs that we do. To donate, drop a check at the school office or online (www.montlakepta.org). The Classroom Pizza Party Competition is in its 4th and final week. The winners so far have been Mr. vente de coque iphone Marshall, Ms. coque iphone Emily, and Ms. Parker’s class. The pizza party is based on participation and not donation amount. To date, donations have only been received by 35% of the students. coque iphone x Remember, any dollar amount helps but to keep all the extra programs, benefits, and supplies costs about $1400/student. Civic Engagement Event: Montlake Rebuild Campaign

Great opportunity for a civics lesson with your kids! We need to tell the school board that Montlake Elementary needs to be rebuilt. Our building is over 100 years old, and the reconstruction needs to be part of the next district building levy. Bring your child(ren) and testify with us in front of the school board on November 15. Testimony starts at 5:30 pm. We will provide photographs and talking points.
Here are a few reasons why the school needs to be rebuilt: NOT ADA accessible, crumbling portables, no potable water in bathrooms, old boiler system, rats.
Children are allowed to testify!
